Monthly Luncheon August 2017

A discussion of the importance of a partnership between citizens and police officers in order to reduce crime and address areas of concern that may foster the fear of crime. The Garland Police Department works closely with the members of its community, maintaining a proactive partnership in order to identify and solve problems.
 

Garland Crime Stoppers is an organization that encourages members of the community to work together with the Garland Police Department in the fight against crime, by providing an avenue where citizens can assist in the identification and apprehension of criminals sought by the police. Crime Stoppers allows members of the community to remain anonymous and makes them eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to an arrest or grand jury indictment of a felony offender.
